Cold Feet by Jeffrey Campbell

It's officially spring and you know what that means? Wedding season!

Ignore those usual Manolo Blahniks, Stuart Weitzmans, Christian Louboutins, Badgley Mischkas, Jimmy Choos, or Brian Atwoods.  How many times have you seen these tired names (or red soles) in wedding pictures?  Too many times to count.

Luckily, Ashbury Skies has released a line of “indie wedding” shoes called “Cold Feet” from Jeffrey Campbell:

Below are the best shoes from the line:

Damsel Crochet - Ivory $179.95

This one is my favorite.  Perfect for a 70s wedding.  However, I would probably wear this to a wedding, but not for my actual wedding.  I would possibly wear it for certain pictures, or for one of my funkier outfits of the night.  Actually, this would be better for the engagement party or wedding rehearsal dinner.

Qual Nude, $174.95
I only like this one because of the metal bow. It needs to be punched up a little more. I included this one because it is the only other traditional heel they offer in this line.  The other one is a kitten heel, which I didn't like very much because it was too low.  Again, I would probably wear this to a wedding, but not for my actual wedding.

Lita Daisy - Silver $164.95

This pair is probably my least favorite out of the three because I hate these bootie-heeled type of shoes that Jeffrey Campbell is known for.  The shape is unflattering.  Yes, they're funky, but they're also kinda ugly.  The only reason I included this pair was I like everything else about it.  The clear heel and metallic laser cut flower pattern won me over.

Although I like the idea behind this line and love unique, funky shoes, I’m still very much a girly girl at heart.  Like the descriptions says, if you're the unconventional, backyard wedding type of girl then these shoes are probably perfect for you.  As a bride, I would NEVER, EVER wear booties, flats, or sneakers.  I would definitely wear them for other occasions though, but I just think they're not funky and fancy enough to be bridal shoes.  They don't wow you or make jaws drop.  For me, bridal shoes need to do that.
